A giant wave of humans comes by like a tsunami. I am walking through the corridors connecting the terminals at Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. The train connecting the concourses must be late or delayed, so people rush through the normally low-traffic underground corridors that connect the terminals. It is as if someone had opened the gates of a dam, and now all these humans are being flushed out into a river at risk of overflowing.

Here they come…

I found myself walking between terminals some time ago after noticing I had more than a few hours between flights. After exiting the international terminal, next to the sign to the sky train, there was an arrow indicating the option to walk to the next station. After a long night on the plane, I decided to accept the invitation.

The Atlanta International Airport, the busiest in the world in terms of passenger traffic, surprised me with its celebration of culture and art.
