none of the normal spiritual ritual
air so pristine the sun waits
lest his rudeness disturbs the pureness

of fairy herb~~blue vine entwined~~
wild grown. tender in climate edges
whooossshhhhhhhh~~
distracting noises mountains away
her soul safe from mortals. pour forth taste
of rain. scintillation tempting
bitter metallic earthy salts sink in
fleeting buds fragrance bare~~

then slowly. very slowly. an underlying
honeyed finish seeps in~~in~~in~~

lingers~~lingers~~
returns. mingling~~
next sip of grassy salts wakens
each brew deeper than the last
everything Spring lives in one leafed vine~~

glistening

two crystal flutes sing in tandem to
novel food forever green
celebrating natural soil gifts
perfect pacing protects
against cancerous darkness

of envy. of pyrite. of too many rules. of
rusty blades. of stumbling haste
stepping over bodies

why competition?
celebration or alienation?

two crystal flutes look on
annum on annum
asking each other knowing
clarity tossing heady silliness
pour pour~~
the more the greener
pour pour~~
not heat nor water her core smothers
pour pour~~
naked hearts daring shores

one vine one flask one root ebullient
in ample warmth toasting
100 worldly curations of an unworldly herb
cleansing
100 worldly curations of unworldly words
seeing
Spring in leap~~

a fascinating sport!
