GATX Rail Poland as Another Tenant of The Warsaw HUB
GATX Rail Poland, a company leasing railcars on the Polish and European markets, will lease almost 1,500 sq. m of office space in the tower B of The Warsaw HUB complex. The company has just signed a contract with the building’s developer — Ghelamco Poland.
The Warsaw HUB, a flagship investment of Ghelamco Poland, has gained a new tenant — GATX Rail Poland, a company operating in the freight rail cars leasing industry. The company’s office will be located in the building B and will occupy 1,478 sq. m, i.e. the entire floor of the skyscraper. JLL represented the owner of the building and CBRE represented the tenant.
“The Warsaw HUB serves as a specific hub not only in terms of communication and functionality, but also in terms of business. The building is chosen for headquarters by companies from various sectors of the market: finance, modern technologies, hotel industry, and — with the expansion of the group of tenants by GATX Rail Poland — also rail cars leasing. Innovative solutions, user- and environmental-friendly space and first-class location of this investment are the advantages appreciated even by the most demanding business partners,” says Jarosław Zagórski, Commercial and Business Development Director, Ghelamco Poland.
“We are happy that GATX Rail Poland chose The Warsaw HUB for its future headquarters. This is a unique project that, apart from the highest standard office space, will also offer many amenities for tenants and direct access to the metro. It is worth emphasizing that GATX decided to stay in the vicinity of Rondo Daszyńskiego, which only confirms that it is currently the most desirable location for tenants on the map of Warsaw,” comments Piotr Kamiński, Senior Consultant in the Office Space Lease Department, JLL.
“GATX Rail Poland is the first tenant to move into The Warsaw Hub. For CBRE team, working with a client who is aware of the importance of office space is a reason for particular satisfaction. We are convinced that the new, carefully designed space will serve GATX Rail Poland team in the coming years of their business development,” says Aleksander Hofmann, Deputy Director in the Department of Office Space Leasing, CBRE.
GATX Rail Poland is a part of GATX Corporation, a company established in the United States in 1898 and offering complex solutions and services in the field of rail transport worldwide. In Europe, the company operates in Germany, Austria, France and Poland.
The Warsaw HUB complex will include: Getin Noble Bank headquarters, Standard Chartered global business services centre, Crowne Plaza and Holiday Inn Express hotels, The Heart Warsaw centre of cooperation between corporations and startups, Biedronka supermarket, Zdrofit fitness club, Rossmann drugstore and McDonald’s and Olimp restaurants.
About The Warsaw HUB
The Warsaw HUB is a modern and multifunctional complex of high-rise buildings, which is being built in the fastest developing part of Warsaw, i.e. at Rondo Daszyńskiego in Wola district. It will consist of three skyscrapers: the 86-metre hotel building and two 130-metre office towers, which will be joined by a five-storey foundation.
The Warsaw HUB is currently Ghelamco Poland’s most innovative project, which will go far beyond the traditional concept of an office complex. The project is built upon the concept of a “hub”, i.e. a major functional and transportation centre. The complex will combine all functions which are necessary for the modern business to operate. The 113,000 sq. m of space will offer state-of-the-art office premises, a conference centre, hotels, a convenience centre, a fitness club, coworking space, and The Heart Warsaw centre of cooperation between corporations and start-ups.
The project will provide its future tenants with numerous sophisticated solutions including access to and navigation around the building using a smartphone, a car recognition system in the underground car park, and a charging station for electric cars.
