The Warsaw HUB Awarded in an International Competition
The Sky-High Art Gallery located on top of The Warsaw HUB has been awarded in the European Property Awards competition.
The international jury of the European Property Awards 2020–2021 has recognized Ghelamco’s projects in the following categories: Development Marketing for Poland and Residential Renovation/Redevelopment for Poland.
European Property Awards is one of the world’s most highly esteemed and prestigious competitions in the real estate industry. For more than 20 years, several dozen property market experts have granted awards to the most innovative and original commercial and residential buildings in Europe.
The Sky-High Art Gallery has been awarded in the Development Marketing category. It was an abstract painting by a recognized artist Łukasz Stokowski, which was hung last year on one of the skyscrapers of The Warsaw HUB complex. The abstract work of art was hung on large-format boards of 1800 sq m, which was going upwards as the construction progressed to finally reach 130 metres. Before the work was hung on the skyscraper’s structure, the artist had painted two pictures, which were then digitized. The originals on the canvas are now displayed in the window of one of the premises in the podium of The Warsaw HUB.
Foksal 13/15 was awarded in the Residential Renovation/Redevelopment category.
“We are proud that this year the awards went to non-standard projects. The Sky-High Art Gallery fits well with our strategy of incorporating works of art into the urban fabric. The revitalisation of Foksal 13/15, on the other hand, is a unique project for us, which allowed for bringing back to life one of the most beautiful residences in Warsaw. I am happy that our efforts are appreciated beyond Poland,” says Jeroen van der Toolen, Managing Director CEE, Ghelamco.
The awards as a part of the European Property Awards competition will be officially granted on 12 December 2020 during the Red Carpet Virtual Event.
