8 Startup events in Stockholm you don’t wan’t to miss in September
September is high season for tech events and the Nordic startup capital is no exception. There are a number of cool conferences, hackathons, meetups, and networking events taking place around town. Some great yearly events are returning, and there are also some cool new ones to check out like Blockchain & Bitcoin Conference, SW Femtech and Gather Festival. We made a list of the events we are excited to visit this coming month. You will find this below. Have a look, sign up and mark your calendars.

3–5/9 STHLM TECH FEST
5,000 startup founders, investors, designers, developers, and journalists come together to share, be inspired and meet the whole Stockholm startup ecosystem, and welcome visitors from 20+ countries. Tickets, 2000–4000 SEK. Organised by Sthlm Tech Meetup. Takes place at Stockholm Waterfront Congress.
6/9 Nordic Design
Nordic.design is an international one-day design conference that will take place at Nobelberget. They aim to inspire and to get inspired, to meet and learn from others and to to bring the community closer together. Tickets are 2990 SEK, and the event takes place at Nobelberget in Nacka.
7/9 Blockchain & Bitcoin Conference Stockholm
A large conference dedicated to blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, and ICOs — Blockchain & Bitcoin Conference Stockholm. This is one of the events from Smile-Expo that have organised 15 blockchain conferences in Europe. 7/9 Nordic.js
Nordic.js is a two-day conference all about JavaScript. We want to inspire and to get inspired, to meet and learn from others and to bring our community closer together. Tickets are 5800 SEK and the event takes place at Nobelberget.
8/9 FESTEN
A party for all hackers, designers and creatives in Stockholm! Join us for a night to remember at Nobelberget. Let’s celebrate our city and its amazing tech and startup community. This is also the official after party for Nordic.design and Nordic.js. The event is free of charge but you need to be on the list to get in so make sure to RSVP. Age limit is 18. Bring your ID.
8–10/9 Stockholm Startup Weekend FemTech
Powered by Danske Bank and SUP46. Women have great business ideas but still, only a fraction of startup founders are females. And that HAS to change. Startup Weekend is a global grassroots movement helping entrepreneurs to the basics of founding startups and launching successful ventures. It is a 54 hours event for designers, marketers and technical people. Tickets are 776 SEK and the event takes place at SUP46, Regeringsgatan 65.
14–16/9 GATHER Festival
Gather is a combination of a conference and a festival and hosts some of the world’s currently most interesting speakers and artists. It takes place in Stockholm, and is all about connecting diverse minds, backgrounds, experiences, and ideas through talks, cultural events, and objective-driven labs. Gather believes in the importance of collaboration, in creativity, and in the power of thinking differently. They have Discounted NGO and Startup tickets from 2450 SEK, available by application. The festival takes place at Nobelberget.
29/9 SUP46 Masterclass -Startup Funding 101
