Nhack, bridging Nordic companies to Asia
Interested in business opportunities in the world’s second largest economy? Did you know China had 70 of 250 global unicorns? Did you know Shanghai is the leader in FinTech/AI, MedTech and Consumer Products?
Doing business abroad is always a challenge raising many questions and demanding important research. It is not usually something you want to be doing alone. But when like most startups you have limited fundings and time, it is definitely something for which you want to surround yourself with people you can trust and from who you can learn.
So if you are looking East for your business, search no more, Nhack has your answers and it’s coming to you.
Nhack is the first accelerator in China designed exclusively for Nordic startups interested in the country’s enormous market and aims at pairing great technology and design from Finland, Sweden, Norway, and Denmark with Chinese investors, business partners, customers, and the country’s hardware supply chain. Nhack has a very strong focus on commercialisation and a huge network of both Nordic and Chinese experts based in the country allowing the Nhack team to give an instant edge to its startups.
Through The Nordic platform The Hub and the program Danske Bank Growth, Danske Bank took the lead early on when it comes to addressing the main needs of Nordic startups. Today it is only natural for the Danish bank to partner up with Nhack.
The accelerator is now receiving application for its next cohort and touring the Nordic in search for the next Startups they will propel to the Great Wall and beyond.
Join Thehub.se and Danske Bank, on the 14th of November for an evening of networking, sharing experiences and secrets about business in and with China. You will get a chance to get some first-hand insiders’ tips from Nhack’s funder Chris Rynning and some of the first cohort’s startups:
- Playpulse, a game platform and game developing company spun out of NTNU University that uniquely combines game technology and hardware with exercise.
- Blueye, the world’s leading ocean technology company producing and selling underwater drones to both consumers and professional users.
- Wiralcam, a NTNU University startup that has developed a cable camera system for “impossible shots”! (TBC)
