Connor Callanan and Conor Mallon, both 24 and the founders of UHSE (pronounced “us”) have been friends since high school. Following college graduation, the two found themselves at a crossroads and were faced with the age-old question, “what do I want to do with my life?”

It’s a question many of us have asked ourselves, but few have the courage to pursue the life we really want to live. For Callanan and Mallon it’s about doing what you love to do, chasing your dreams and finding out what you’re passionate about and what gets you excited, to feel alive. They both had a desire for adventure and new experiences and together, they decided to take the road less traveled. Setting out to explore the U.S. and Canada, Callanan and Mallon wanted to share their experiences and stay connected with family and friends. Hoping to inspire others to get out and explore the world, they founded UHSE, through which they document and share their travels, daily challenges and victories with friends and followers.

The two recently returned from a trip to the Grand Canyon and are already planning their next adventure through the southeastern part of the United States and Mexico.

“We take people with us along on our journey… We share our story and the stories of the people we meet along the way.”

“We’ve had to make certain sacrifices in order to do what we want to do, but it’s worth it,” continued Mallon. “We’re making connections along the way. We’ve found something we’re passionate about and others feel it too, and in return, they show us life from their perspective.”
