Once again, the Howard High Fine Arts Departments are coming together for a joint concert Tuesday, Dec. 11, at 7 p.m. in the auditorium. The band, orchestra and choir will be featured, and there will even be some pieces the different groups collaborate on. Admission is free and the event is family friendly.

The performers in this show are the some of the best Howard has to offer. Each group was handpicked based on auditions and performance in class. The Ensemble choir will be directed by their teacher Benjamin Roberson, the Wind Ensemble by Emmanuel Johnson, and the String Orchestra by John Sweat.

The program is made of entirely either Winter or Holiday music to fit the theme and the current season. It is meant to not only showcase our students’ talent, but also to provide a fun event before the final exams at the end of the month.

Last year, the event was held in the Porter Auditorium at Mercer. A video of the event can be found at the link below.
