THE STORY

This new album in the market is what you should save your last pennies to buy.

WHO IS IT THIS TIME?

Someone we all haven’t seen or heard from in a long time. After 10 years, our legendary Richard Kings has released a new album called “Light Shine”.

WHERE HAS HE BEEN?

Doing more of live performances instead of releasing tracks. That’s why you haven’t seen much of him but hey! He’s back. Let’s go see what has been cooking for us in the studio all this while. Want a CD? Why not click here.

THIS YOUNG MAN IS TRYING TO CHANGE HOW YOU USE SOCIAL MEDIA

In a bit to sensitise and orientate 20 young social media practitioners and online media personalities in Cameroon, Hansel Media organized a seminar on “Effective online communication for good elections” over the Weekend. This seminar funded by Alert Fund for YOUTH activities was held on Saturday 10th September 2016, at Fakoship Plaza Hall, Buea. The seminar brought together media houses, agricultural and charity organisations, press organs and a bloggers community. The presenters among which included Barrister Tambe Tiku, spoke on the importance and role online media plays in an electoral process.

HOW THEY’RE FUELING MORE LABOUR ON OUR SOILS

Smallholder farmers and local African agriculture businesses will benefit from a $30 billion pledge. WHY INDIANS CAN NOW DOWNLOAD BOLLYWOOD MOVIES FASTER

India’s internet problems are gradually being solved. About a week ago, 80% of India received and began using the 4G Network. What’s more interesting is that the Jio network, as it is called, is free until the end of 2016, after which Indians will get to pay as little as 149 rupees ($2.25) a month. That’s what it takes to have kind, or maybe smart billionaires in your country. The $20 billion Jio network Service is provided by India’s richest man.

WHAT TO TELL YOUR FRIEND WHO LOVES WOMEN

If you’re not careful you’ll be in a mess like Fox’s former boss Roger Ailes. Former Fox News host, Gretchen Carlson, who filed a lawsuit against Roger Ailes for sexual harassment, received $20 million as part of her settlement from 21st Century Fox. This settlement is to publicly apologize for what she suffered. Even though many women have laid the same claims, Mr. Ailes still denies sexually harassing anyone.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THE PRESIDENTIAL SEAT IS A FAMILY LEGACY

With all the tension in Gabon over elections, the European Union election observers have intervened by asking for a recount. Ali Bongo’s reply to that is a “NO”. He insists that only the country’s top court has the right to give such an order. “What people should be asking me to do is apply the law. I cannot violate the law. As far as a recount is concerned…that’s done at the level of the Constitutional Court,” Bongo added.

A WEEKEND OF STUMBLES AND A PRESIDENTIAL HEALTH SCARE

US presidential candidate, Hilary Clinton, could barely walk on her own when she left a September 11 memorial in New York. It might not be a major health scare, as she only suffered dehydration, and pneumonia. The little rest prescribed for her is the reason why her schedule for Monday and Tuesday have been cancelled.

KINDA LIKE THIS SONG

Sounds a little different but interesting too. That’s why I decided to share with you. Why not listen to “Wurere Africa” by Kasi Dred from #hearnoise. Come to think of it- we really do weird stuff with the hashtag.
