The limited number of spaces in the HyperSpace Alpha waitlist filled up quickly, and now the first people to add their names have received invitations to sign up.
The HyperSpace Alpha will test user experience assumptions as well as the technical foundations of the new network among a limited number of testers. Most importantly, it will begin the process of validation for some of our novel economic models, underlying all interactions between users within HyperSpace “Spaces” — the place where communities organize around specific topics, hobbies, and interests.
HyperSpace is going to launch with three Spaces. Come Beta, many more will become available, and HyperSpace users will be able to stake some of their AMPs to create their own.
During this initial phase, the data collected will provide the HyperSpace team with insight into the social network graph, ways of participation, paths of Amplifications, and more. The information flowing to users and the rewards they receive based on our economic models will be processed, analyzed, tested and modified to better facilitate the creation and curation of quality content, to make sure every value-creator is incentivized and fairly rewarded, and to allow for the creation of the best communities on the web.
For those who didn’t make it into the Alpha, the waitlist for the Beta awaits. Beta testers will still enjoy many of the benefits we’re allocating to our early community of HyperSpacers, so join the Beta waitlist now!
Behind-the-scenes peeks from the Alpha and updates about the Beta are coming soon. Keep following us on our social channels and be the first to know:
