Expectant

… for we are the ones who birth movements, raise children, and foster futures. As creators, we see our world as pregnant with possibilities.

Today, we push through darkness.

We go deep inside ourselves.

We find gems at our core

We did not even know

We were gestating.

We allow necessity

To mother our inventions.

We birth dreams and nurse movements.

Today, we are open.

We are venting.

Although the future is uncertain

Understand this…

What we make

Out of the unknown

Will be fire.

We will light the way.

Knowing,

Despite it all

We are… expectant.
