Gender Transition Is ‘Harmful,’ Per This Sinking Ship: The HHS ‘Treatment’
We’ll have to surf our way out of this one. We’ll ride its wake. The only way out is through.
On May 1, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services released a report it calls “Treatment for Pediatric Gender Dysphoria: Review of Evidence and Best Practices.”
It says it “summarizes, synthesizes, and critically evaluates the existing literature” on “evidence and best practices” for children and adolescents (not adults). It was “commissioned pursuant to Executive Order 14187, signed on January 28, 2025,” in which President Donald Trump demanded that a report be produced within three months. The conclusion was obviously predetermined. Trump wanted a report with which to take away trans rights. The report nonetheless claims it “is not a clinical practice guideline, and it does not issue legislative or policy recommendations.”
