It’s not the first time an airline has been in the news in this particular sense. This sense being arbitrary “dress code” requirements.

This time it’s American, and it’s hit the news because the victim was former Miss Universe, Olivia Culpo.

What Was She Wearing?

Apparently, Culpo was wearing shorts, a crop top and a long black cardigan. That doesn’t seem at all inappropriate.

But she was told by an employee to “put on a blouse,” whatever that means.

She ended up having to borrow her boyfriend’s sweatshirt to get on the plane.

She’s making light of it, but there’s nothing in the dress code…it just says “dress appropriately” and they called it “offensive clothing.”

A crop top? Really? To me, offensive clothing is racist slogans or MAGA hats. Ahem.

A crop top.

Maybe she should wear a dress printed with dildos next time?
