THE FINAL COUNTDOWN

WE ARE MAKING OUR VIDEO!!!!!!!

It was our last week of school. It was so sad and yet fulfilling. We know we have a lot of work to do before the final on Thursday. We planned accordingly so we can work ahead to accomplish our goals and finish our semester-long project with ease.

We tried to be as diligent with our time and considerate with our other classes. WE made an effective plan so that we can move forward. We believe with this timetable we can have a successful presentation and story to tell to the index crowd this Thursday. It is unreal to realize we only have one more week with this project. So sad.

We decided to meet in person over the weekend to really understand what we needed to accomplish our video. We realized we can do a simple animation and keep the editing down to a minimum. It was so nice to see our team in person. we got a lot done and plan to film really quickly after establishing a consistent light source.

We arranged a whole storyboard that communicates our script. This was helpful for our animations because we could accurately know what we needed to print and show scene by scene. This was a fun activity that we all got to communicate together on. This also informed our prototype. We were able to clearly define what screens we needed to fully ensure what we wanted to show in the video and presentation.

Finally, we have been trying to cater our story to the audience so that we get more of an emotional response. We want to create more ethos so people understand the gravity of our topic and to demonstrate how we are really making/ designing a better life for a woman. This is still a work in progress and we are excited to see where the story and the finale of our studio projects ends up.
