Dublin three-piece Bitch Falcon are back with what might just be their best release yet. ‘Prime Number’ is an essay in raw and frenzied yet controlled chaos.

The track’s opening is heavy, with a Seattle grunge-influenced nod to darkwave. Frontwoman Lizzie Fitzpatrick’s vocals are captured at their best, amidst a melange of screaming guitar licks and crashing consonants to blow the dust off your speakers. The wailing and distortion showcase Bitch Falcon as the sonic powerhouse they are. “It’s basically an apology song to people close to me for being too self-obsessed and narcissistic, to the point of pushing them away,” Fitzpatrick explains, “It’s a nod to myself trying too hard to be cool and I’m probably better off just being plain ol’ me.”

The accompanying video is a bizarre, surrealistic collaboration with Kate Dolan. Catch Bitch Falcon on their European tour this month and next.
