Final Story

As I chatted with my family during my brothers birthday party, I realized how much I was learning in terms of how the internet works and how I can become a better student. Even though I started this class believing it to be an interesting but easy extra credit opportunity, I found the truth to be an expansion upon this. In fact, this class has provided me with the tools to become a far more meticulous and polished researcher than I was previously. I had difficulties coming into Wake Forest wherein I felt underprepared compared to my peers and oftentimes it seemed that there papers where better crafted than mine due to research abilities. Now, I feel as if I have the resources and abilities at my disposal to ascertain the best research material to then in turn produce the best paper. Essentially, the ingredients I was using for my research were sub par, but with a good presentation, now I can easily and confidently find good ingredients and feel that they are in fact what they claim to be. In terms of the class itself it was a very new and different experience for me as I had never taken an online class that recreated the material interaction of a real class and therefore required a great deal more attention. Despite some prejudice on my part I found the environment and format to be enjoyable and useful for future studies. In the end I think this was a tool polishing, adding, and enhancing activity for me as it enabled me to become better at a craft I was fairly adept at. However, I did not know how far I could go in terms of improvement and how this improvement would render excellent results.
