TIS.tv is an international video platform on social and technological innovation. We share and create the best videos in a great number of categories, varying from sustainable energy to drones, from space to smart cities. TIS.tv offers close to 1000 videos, an international audience from more than 180 countries and a growing community of people who actively contribute by uploading, sharing and upvoting videos. We put innovators in the spotlights, are a source of innovation and reflection and offer a place for encounters and collaboration.

The Job

As a Assistant Community Manager you’re a vital part in keeping the TIS Community engaged. The core focus of your activities will be on sharing (video) content with the community via social media channels. You will manage and feed the online dialogue on different topics by adding and creating (video) posts, but also have to research ways to engage the current audience and reach out to new audiences. You will work directly with the Community Manager.

Your activities:

  • Activating the TIS Community on social media
    + Creating / sharing (video) content for social media and TIS.tv
    + Webcare for TIS.tv
    + Sending out weekly newsletters
    + Researching the best ways to reach out to the TIS Community
    + Reporting on Google Analytics and social media
    + Image and video editing
    + Assisting with (online) events

You are:

  • Fluent in English
    + Experienced with social media
    + Experienced with Photoshop
    + Experienced with WordPress
    + Experienced with online tools such as Google Analytics, Tweetdeck, Mailchimp and SurveyMonkey
    + Interested in innovation in a broad sense
    + Independent
    + Pro active
