Exciting times ahead! Not only will our team be growing in the next few months (do check out the positions for Video Editor and Assistant Community Manager) and are we working on a cool 60-minute format, but the next theme of the month is Virtual Reality. And as a true (game) geek (yes, I played Ingress, Pokémon Go and even visited an arcade last weekend), I can’t wait to take a deep dive into all things VR, AR and 360! But for now, let’s take a final look at Social Innovation!

Turning fog into drinking water
The CloudFisher is developed by the German Water Foundation and does something amazing: the nets harvest fog and turn it into clean drinking water! Its daily water harvest is between 4–14 liters per m2 of net. The system is strong, doesn’t require electricity and needs hardly any maintenance. Seems like a perfect solution for drought-ridden areas.
