TIS Weekly (#47): Moonshots; Space and Beyond

Over the years, some have complained that ever since the Apollo project no other projects of the same impact and imagination have been launched. At the time, the Apollo project was called Moonshot since the aim was to literally bring humans to the moon. The last few years however, the term Moonshot is back. Not the government, but commercial companies and other organisations are formulating ambitious goals and competitions to reach them, ranging from AI to self driving cars. And again space. So we figured, why not share the best videos about space in the coming month?!

Fake Food
It might look very intergalactic, but Project Nourished is about VR and Food. The aim of this project is to virtualize ones eating and drinking experience by tricking all senses in believing actual food and beverages are consumed. Instead, one is fed a 3D printed substance or plain water.

OSCAR, the modular body
Our Health special triggered Jurriaan van Rijswijk from Games for Health Europe into sharing some of his favorite videos. Like the video about OSCAR, the modular body. In this video, a living organism built from human cells is shown. It is modular with clickable organs and it moves!
