TIS Weekly (#49): What Can You Still Believe?

[May 15th, 2016]

There is a lot of WOW factor going on around TIS. This week we have a couple of examples of that. Impressive stuff. At the same time we have the space theme this month on our site. Watch quality videos on the subject on TIS and add your own favorites too! Appreciated!

Computer power
What can you still believe?

This is an incredible video. Thanks to realtime video processing it is possible to combine the lip movements of one person with archived video material from another. So you can let people say things they haven’t said. Freaky and impressive at the same time.

Smart computing
So artificial intelligence does exist

The makers of Siri, Apple’s voice assistant, are disappointed about what the company did with their brainchild. With their new initiative, Viv, they show what a really intelligent assistant can do. Another impressive piece of technology this week!

Energy
An e-bike in 60 seconds

Thanks to Geo Orbital you transform your normal bicycle in an electric one in 60 seconds. We want!

OK that’s it for this week, friends of innovation. Keep on submitting, keep on voting, keep on innovating. Questions? Remarks? Ideas? hello@tis.tv is the address! From TIS with love, Erwin Blom.
