TIS Weekly (#50): One World One Voice
[May 22nd, 2016]
We know you’re busy, but we know you like innovations too! That’s why we make a weekly selection of three videos that have been added to TIS. Here’s our pick of this week!
Social Innovation
One World One Voice
There will be a time where we can all talk in our own language and at the same time will be able to communicate with people from other countries in their own languages. Google translate is getting better and better, but there’s more. Waverly Labs takes things one step further. They built an earpiece that translates in your ear what someone else is saying. Well it does in the promo, let’s hope this becomes reality!
According to Erwin Blom ‟The idea is great, the promo shows the idea, but now we want to see it working ;-) ! "www.tis.tv
Refugees
Run like a refugee
You can read about refugees and their stories and realities. But of course you really can’t feel what it is like to have to run from your country and family. VR gets you closer to reality. That’s wat ‘Insight Installation’ does. Run like a refugee to get to the core issue. Experience a refugee’s journey by running on a treadmill with an Oculus Rift on.
According to robert utten ‟Run like a refugee, experience with VR"www.tis.tv
Robots
Robots are pretty good with swords too
You know by now that we have a fascination with robots. What can they do? How can they help us? What’s good? What’s bad? This is simply a fascinating video. A competition between man an machine with swords. Take a look!
According to Simone de Bruin ‟Sword Master vs Industrial Robot. See how well they compete in the Yaskawa Bushido…www.tis.tv
