The brilliant mind who ever lived with more than 300 scientific papers was not shaped out of a vacuum. Nor it was an accident. He learned from the best minds of history. Unlike other scientists, Einstein was a man of books throughout his lifetime.

He and his two other friends formed a club called Olympia Academy to read and discuss literature and philosophy. Einstein later recalled that Olympia academy had inspired many of his theories.

His collection includes Boltzmann, Buchner, Friedrich Hebbel, the works of Heine in two editions, Helmholtz, von Humboldt, the many books of Kant, Gotthold Lessing, Mach, Nietzsche, Schopenhauer, Leo Tolstoy, and Fyodor Dostoyevsky.
