‘Build it and they will come.’

One of the big mistakes businesses make is assuming once they have a great service or product that customers and advocates will be in abundance.

In today’s crowded marketplace, that’s a dangerous error.

A failure to identify and engage your target customers and business partners can cost valuable time, money, reputation and sales.

I advise my clients to get to know their key audiences intimately. What are their wants and needs? What are their pain points?

Only then can they connect on a deeper level.

How to communicate with your target audiences

“If you’re trying to appeal to everyone you’ll end up appealing to no one”.

The first rule of communicating with your target audiences is you can’t be everything to everyone. A one size fits all approach simply won’t work because your messaging becomes generic and vague.

Different audiences have different likes, dislikes and problems so your messages need to be tailored accordingly.

Define your target audiences
