Well I believe even after hearing about a book called: The Power Of Kindness which also has a subtitle about empathy, we need to work on being kinder to each other and ourselves! Kindness isn’t just about being kind to each other and ourselves; it’s also about being empathetic with each other and not being hard on ourselves and each other when we mess up in the process of being kinder!

It’s also about being gentle towards ourselves and each other when we mess up. Because as much as we all say it to each other: no one is perfect and humans aren’t supposed to be perfect! So why the such need to strive for perfection when it simply just doesn’t exist?

What is it that makes someone dedicate their life to something so not realistic, when it gives them such stress, anxiety, overthinking, pain and much much more? Perfect simply just doesn’t exist because it leads to so many things like: depression and one quote from a subtitle of a book says a lot in itself:

“Why striving for perfect is sabotaging your relationships, making you sick and holding your happiness hostage”

And so I gotta say that the part about the “S.M.A.R.T. Goal method is something I’ve never liked: it’s unrealistic! In fact, I’ve never liked the “R” in the word. Realistic: it makes people think that many of our dreams that society would tell us are “unrealistic” and tell them to also spend their time on achieving dreams that society would label or csll: “realistic” but then to me: I believe that would be one thing that someone who wants to be accepted and loved for who they actually and truly are; decides to pretend to be someone else to earn or gain they acceptance or validation that we are good enough!

Speaking of, here’s a poem that Meghan’s character spoke 2/3 of the “Meghan & Harry: Becoming Royal” quoted from Marianne Deborah Williamson

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people will not feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It is not just in some of us; it is in everyone and as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give others permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

So what do I have to say about that? Let’s change it! Show the world what your idea of realism/realistic looks like to you!
