Teenagers & Their Behaviours?

Teenagers can act so entitled and selfish, they haven’t learned yet what maturity, independence, adulthood and even the part of taking on more responsibility as you grow up.

They can appear to the eyes and ears as selfish, immature, entitled people but the truth is: not all of us are lucky to have parents to teach us responsibility and with that example:

  • Paying them allowance and letting them buy/spend it on whatever they think but limiting or excluding their parents money in the scenario.

You gotta earn your money and earn the things you want in life. Not just products you want in stores, but the things you want in friendships, colleagues/coworkers, and partners.

From my own experiences I’ve communicated with many teenagers through selling & buying platforms such as:

  • Letgo
  • Facebook Marketplace
  • eBay
  • Carousel
  • And more

And what I can say is that most of them appear to my eyes and ears of all those things I’ve listed above.

  • Immaturity, entitled, selfish…

But here’s another good lesson for them to be taught in school… how to cope with times when we feel life is unfair and impossible and challenging and hard to get through without responding and reacting with immaturity, ignorance, entitlement and selfishness.

Join the club, Sweetheart. Life rarely gives us what we want. ~ Hope, Virgin River
