There Is Hope
Well hello there. I’m here writing this post on something that has just come to my mind and in which I believe can get many thinking and even start putting into action for themselves.
And that is: those important days we have every year: Mothers Day, Father’s Day, National Best Friend Day, National Boyfriend and Girlfriend Day, National Cat Day; but then there’s other days such as: Bell Let’s Talk Day where we all come together online to post posts, tweet tweets, reblog with the hashtag: “#BellLetsTalk” to help raise awareness, but also bring mental health to light.
As well with bringing more hope to those who need it by sharing stories, mental health issues, struggles and even a new beginning to a better ending of each of our stories to remind those still suffering in silence that life does get better and it is worth sticking around for. That no matter how much hate we have for ourselves (with insecurities, hate from bullies and haters = confused admirers) and the hate we experience and receive daily in our society, there’s always room for positivity to help change our world and society for the better.
To help bring hope to those who need it to encourage, inspire and empower them to save themselves which is the first step as small yet so challenging and yet almost impossible: seeking help without letting the fears, worries and anxieties convince us otherwise not to; to get us the help we need towards a healthier lifestyle and overall a happier, confident, healthier, and proud to be who we are regardless of what society chooses to call us.
Yeah we live with mental illness, so what. Our mental illnesses and addictions don’t define who we are; we are the ones who we define ourselves to be. Don’t let society dictate how you should live your life nor who you live that life as. Be the best version of you and own it like its yours: because it’s your life! Now this is our time to take back the life that has always been ours and no one else’s! It’s time to show the rest of the world what we are made of, who we are and what we can do in this world besides spread more hate and crime.
It may sound almost nearly impossible to pull off but trust me and anyone who stands by this: it all starts with one person and it suddenly becomes a chain reaction. So where do you stand here with this?
Are you gonna just let the rest of us change the world while you continue to be mentally depressed or mentally ill and let society take away everything you have and everything you are, or are you gonna choose to stand together with us all and make a difference for the better; to give our world what it truly deserves: love, kindness, compassion, courage, pride, strength, positivity, strength, empowerment and so much more; instead of hate and the other negative and bad stuff?
