Rain, rain, don’t go away

Let the sun shine through another day

For my heart is troubled and I can’t play.

Rain, rain, stay here, I pray

As I join my tears with yours today

All my friends are gone and far away.

Rain, rain, just pour away

Let your downpour shout what I can’t say

You’re the only shelter that I have today.
