Many creatives often wait for the ideal moment. They seek the perfect idea, circumstances, and results. This desire for everything to be perfect prevents them from taking the first step.

Sadly, the perfect moment never comes.

In fact, waiting for perfect situations and expecting the best results means guaranteed disappointment.

The more you chase perfection, the less you get done.

I had to learn it the hard way.

When I began writing online, I waited for the perfect idea. Then, I wanted my article to be the best. So I spent hours perfecting it. Lastly, I expected perfect outcomes:

  • more views,
  • more likes,
  • more engagement,
  • more earnings.

Nothing about it was fun because I procrastinated, waiting for perfect ideas. I couldn’t get things done, and it even impacted my mental state.

A few months of chasing perfectionism allowed me to understand what really works. So, I let go of the need to do things perfectly.

Instead, I wrote about multiple topics, experimented with ideas, and was not disappointed…
