Interchain Foundation at Cosmoverse 2024: The Interchain Track
Cosmoverse 2024 is approaching fast and the ICF is thrilled to be a headline sponsor this year. As stewards of the interchain, we look forward to presenting the Interchain Track, showcasing its technologies and growth, and sharing more about our future as a foundation. Cosmoverse is a major platform for collaboration and innovation, networking, and sharing ideas. From keynotes and workshops to Hackmos and a dedicated booth, here’s what you can expect from us at Cosmoverse 2024.
The Interchain Track — Curated by the ICF
From October 21–23, we’re collaborating with Cosmoverse to curate the Interchain Track, highlighting the ecosystem’s growth and latest developments. For the first time, the ICF will attend alongside the team of teams to present the Interchain Stack as a unit and showcase its progress in 2024, and what’s ahead of us in 2025. We aim to highlight how the Interchain Stack has evolved to meet the needs of a growing ecosystem and deep-dive into each component — Cosmos SDK, CometBFT, IBC, CosmWasm, and CosmJS with its surrounding libraries — to show how they enable flexible development and novel use cases.
We will also have a dedicated Interchain Booth where you can come by and meet us, get support from our Interchain Stack stewards helping builders with the stack, participate in workshops, and pick up some quality swag!
Keynotes, Panels, and Workshops
Attendees can expect keynotes and panels from some of the ecosystem’s projects covering diverse areas like IBC expansion, institutions on the interchain, DePIN growth, and tooling/relayers. They will also see how the interchain is expanding to connect to external ecosystems via IBC.
Interchain Stack stewards will present each stack component and offer in-depth explanations of recent integrations, version releases, and expansions to foster a broader understanding of the stack and its functionality, innovation, and upcoming features. For developers wanting hands-on experience building with the stack, there will be workshops on CosmWasm, IBC, Cosmos SDK, and CometBFT, plus the Interchain Track at Hackmos from October 25–27.
Delegates can also learn about the history of the interchain and the ICF, the Builder’s Program, Stewardship, predictions and hot takes, and our vision for the future of the ICF.
The Interchain Track is still open for applications on the Cosmoverse website and the full agenda will be shared shortly, so stay tuned for details!
The Interchain Track @ Hackmos
We’re excited to sponsor Hackmos, the official Cosmoverse hackathon after the main conference from October 25–27. Developers will have the chance to impress the judges with new and exciting implementations of the Interchain Stack and compete for a share of the $100,000 prize pool. Find new ways to expand the interchain and show what’s possible in terms of user experience and interoperability by leveraging the capabilities of the Interchain Stack.
Interchain Track Ideas
Interoperability — IBC Expansion with EVM, Zero-Knowledge, IBC Circuit Breaker, Interchain Accounts and Interchain Queries, or Relayer Incentivization and Marketplaces.
Tooling — Interchain Stack Monitoring, Fuzzer, or Better UX & UI.
Applications — Social Networks & Moderation, Censorship Resistant Content, Cross-chain NFT Products and Applications, Randomness, Distributed Vote Incentivization, or CosmWasm.
Wild Card — Anything you can dream up with the latest releases of the Interchain Stack and expanding the interchain!
