UFC Heavyweight Champion (and former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion) Daniel Cormier has a birthday coming up in approximately one month. With such limited information, one might be inclined to reasonably ask “why is this of any significance?” Well, in mid-March, he will enter into his fifth decade on the planet Earth, turning the ripe age of 40 years old. Though he carries around that permanent, natural smile on his face, keep in mind that when it comes to combat fighting, a spring chicken, he is absolutely not. But throughout his storied career that’s produced a sparkling record of 22–1 (1), unless it’s been Jon Jones standing opposite him in the Octagon, with traces of god-knows-what in his system, Father Time certainly hasn’t been a barrier to both his overall and recent success.
