9'11 Remembered
How many lives were destroyed that horrific day? How many went home to be with the Lord, and how many learned what it really was to pray?
As I sat in California safe in my comfort zone, watching the horrors of 9'll hit me, with the kids that were in my life at the time something came to me we could do something so I took two of the younger kids, who were ten and eleven at the time and that day we filled everything we could with change, and took it to the Red Cross, even then I knew I was going to work with kids, but on the other side of the coin as I watched great men like Father Mychal who sacrificed his life to bring comfort to those dying in the rubble I remembered thinking we can do more, and that is when the words began flowing I was writing before then but my writing changed after 9'11, I wrote more about faith, I wrote more about life, and the beauty of the life and One Nation Under God Carried new meaning, and sacrifice was defined in images forever etched in our minds.

There we many like Father Mychal Judge though, men who would carry the disabled down the steps, because the elevators were of course not working and not safe.
