Seems Like A Mighty Long Time

Time to make the wrong words rhyme

I would like to apologize to all my friends that join me in this dingy Pub. I haven’t been showing any of you gratitude or love. I don’t want to make anymore excuses. I am going to do this. You might not believe. I understand as I did deceive. Very selfish. In myself I relished. I am trying to change this. We all have names. Not leaving you faceless. I pray you will forgive. Start over. Erase this.

I would like to acknowledge some people who really contribute: Jayne.Press Talaya McCain Gurpreet Dhariwal VOICES OF THE LOST Larry Nowicki Amy Marley. I probably am missing many. We will change that. Unite as family. This Pub exists for us to release our inner demons. Slay that hideous beast. I am going to set some themes down for December. Please join in. Become a contender. This is not a place of pressure. The goal is to write for pleasure.

THEME FOR DECEMBER

Let’s start with HUMOR. Humor of any kind. Turn it into a prose of rhyme. Laughter cures the soul. Let’s laugh without control. I will start the poem. The rest is yours for the taking. Please see below:

Oh December
Sweet December
Do you remember
What a stupid question
Book another therapy session
I walk in for my hour of blah blah’s…

Take it. Rearrange it. Recreate it. I will finish one. I think it might be fun. Just a thought. This is option #1. More to come.

Next Friday we will start a new theme. This one will remain. Sight unseen. if you can think of Theme #2. Email me or comment me. I will be here for you.

I hope everybody is doing well. If you are not please reach out. Let’s be here for each other. I can’t begin to express the gratitude I have for all of you. You have always been there for me even if I wasn’t capable of being there for you. I am not very proud of my actions. Now I’m doing better. Gaining some traction. I want this Pub to be my healthy distraction.
