To be very honest — and I know this may come as a shock — I’ve never been much of a Twitter person. I’ve had an account for years, but it was mostly a place for occasional check-ins during major news events and, I admit, some doom-scrolling sessions. However, my perspective started shifting dramatically lately, with the buzz around Reddit’s recent IPO making me reconsider my digital abstinence. After all, for founders, investors, and those deeply embedded in the venture capital ecosystem, Twitter is an indispensable tool.

So, motivated by my newfound appreciation for this digital agora, I dove headfirst into the vast ocean of Twitter. It has been a journey from skepticism to active engagement, discovering along the way how valuable a curated Twitter feed (and emphasis on ‘curated’) can be for anyone in the venture capital game.

Without further ado, here’s a list of 50 Twitter profiles that have guided my path through the complexities of venture capital (and the daunting world of Twitter). These profiles have not only provided me with the latest trends, deals, and discussions but perhaps most importantly, have done so in an engaging and often entertaining manner. The list below is based on activity level, relevance to the VC space, the quality of insights offered, and taking into account my subjective perspective — in my view, these are ideal accounts to follow for those, like me, who are eager to connect with the digital VC community.

Whether you’re just stepping into the world of venture capital or looking to enrich your Twitter feed with top-tier industry insights, my hope is that this list can serve as a gateway to becoming part of a vibrant, ongoing conversation about the future of innovation, investment, and entrepreneurship!
