In a strategic move this quarter, Universal Music Group (UMG) has entered into a captivating partnership with the renowned entertainment institution, Le Cirque Du Soleil. Between launching a New Music Library, and efforts to enhance artist's remuneration, this collaboration adds a theatrical dimension to the company’s identity.

Le Cirque Du Soleil: Symbol of artistic innovation.

Founded in 1984 by street performers Guy Laliberté (businessman and poker play) and Gilles Ste-Croix (initially street artist), Cirque du Soleil has evolved into a global phenomenon, by blending acrobatics, theatre, music, and elaborate visual effects.

The Canadian entertainment company is renowned for modernising circus performances through the integration of elaborated technical productions.

One of the main changes: Cirque du Soleil no longer features animal acts in the shows.

The company has produced numerous critically acclaimed shows, such as “Alegria,” “Mystère,” “O,” and “Luzia,” among others.
