Stettheimer Summer on 5th Ave

Opening today at the Jewish Museum, Florine Stettheimer: Painting Poetry presents over 50 paintings and drawings surveying the work of American modernist painter, designer, and poet Florine Stettheimer.

In conjunction with the exhibition, three institutions on New York’s Museum Mile join forces to celebrate Stettheimer and the Jazz Age on 5th Ave.

Through September 24, visitors to the Jewish Museum receive complimentary same-day admission to the Museum of the City of New York (on 5th Ave at 103rd Street) to view the Stettheimer Dollhouse, created by Carrie Walter Stettheimer, by presenting their printed Jewish Museum admission ticket at the Museum of the City of New York admission desk.
