SmackCenter – The Dog Days of Dynasty

What’s up ladies and gentlemen and Gabe? Welcome back to SmackCenter – the monthly recap of the weird, wild and wacky discussions that appear on the GroupMe chat. It’s the dog-days of dynasty: the lull between OTAs and training camp where bored-as-hell dynasty owners run out of shit to talk about (don’t even look at the abyss that is the r/dynastyff sub right now).
Let’s take a dive into the weird and wonderful world of the leaguechat.
Brian, the comedian?
27 June 2017 by Brian ( also featuring an unsuspecting Alex)
Brian spends a loooooot of time as the butt of all of our jokes. He was sort of asking for it, really, when he was catfishing (or reverse-catfishing, depending on who you ask) as Old Man Pedo. Adding a little bit of salty attitude and peppering us with hawwwt takes about Kelvin Benjamin, Tyreek Hill, and Isaiah Crowell and it’s just a little too easy to mock the old man of the group (I had to restrain myself on the last SmackCenter post quite a bit).
Feast your eyes, everyone. Here’s Brian turning the tables on the poor, unsuspecting “good commish”.

Brian & Jeff playing Drama & Queen
27 June 2017 featuring Brian and Jeff
Most of the time, the DM slide leads nowhere. After having a good laugh at the previous thread, I thought I could go back to my day job. Fat chance! This thread followed on the heels of the previous one — and I couldn’t help but fan the “flames” a bit.

As it turns out, I wasn’t kidding about the collusion: it was actually me colluding with Brian and Jeff to amp up the drama.

The real trade was boring. Let’s move on.
Rhyming on the ‘Ritz
29 June 2017 by Zach feat Connor S
We all like to talk up our guys. Connor S was waxing poetic about a certain German workout warrior when Zach did a masterful job of one-upping him.

/thread.
Canadian Shenanigans
1 July 2017 ft the Canadian
Canada D’eh — where “Canadian spirit” fills the air and makes me a wee bit patriotic.

Sleepwalking
12 July 2017 ft Jeff, Gabe, and Brian

^seems like an appropriate reaction.
Where Everyone Moved To Tanada
20 July 2017 Feat the usual suspects
It all started with Gabe…

And it ended with this:

And along the way we had a few “incidents”…

(Trust Gabe to lose track)

Jeff made this embarrassing blunder…but learned quick enough. Alex, on the other hand…

He finally managed to change his name…but nobody understood his joke. I think. Brian?
