There are people on the left who, today, don’t bother to disguise the depth of their hatred for Mr. Trump. They do not bother with manners, civility, appearances. They want to destroy the the mofo. He is so repulsive to all they stand for and hold dear…to all they are…that under no circumstances can Trump be president.
There are people on the right who, for many days, months, years, have hated Mrs Clinton with the same intensity. Under no circumstances can Clinton be president.
It’s a death match.
Ahhh, democracy. (That beautiful form of government in which we can take a vote on whether it’s raining or not and the one looking out the window could lose.) What have you given us this time?
The two most detested people in the country both running for president and under no circumstances can either be allowed to win.
Super Tuesday ended a few hours ago. Clinton seems to have things wrapped up -barring an indictment. Trump’s campaign is not yet won and could still be lost, even now. He lost four Tuesday primaries, finishing third in one of those. Big leads can be lost and lost quickly.
