According to a report from Venture Beat, LG will be introducing a redesigned flagship phone in June. Codenamed Judy, this launch will be a different launch cycle than what the company has done previously. Usually, the company launches G-series phones in the first half of the year, then following by its V-series in the second half.

According to notorious leaker Evan Blass, LG’s upcoming flagship phone will feature a a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chip, paired with 64GB internal storage, 4GB of RAM, stereo “boombox” speaker, wireless charging, and water, dust, and impact resistance.

The smartphones HDR screen will reporteadly measure up to a large 6.1-inch screen with 18:9 Full Vision display. This would make the smartphone bigger than the company’s G6 phone, which has a 5.7-inch screen. Blass did note that the new device won’t be called the G7.

According to VB’s report, LG will be implementing an MLCD+ panel for the new phone’s display. This will allow the device to hit a max 800-nit brightness while using 35 percent less power than the standard IPS panels. For example, in Apple’s case on the iPhone X, it measures to 625 nits. In addition to the display, the phone will feature dual cameras with 16 megapixel sensors, glass optical elements, and f/1.6 lenses. According to Blass, the phone’s camera system will also have AI capabilities.
