Both skier’s right and left of Les Grands Montets — contender for the most aesthetically pleasing mountain shape (just behind the Matterhorn) — offers incredible skiing. To the right, you have lines that take you right on to the Mer de Glace (the glacier running between Les Grands Montets and the Aiguille du Midi ridge line) and to the left, legendary freeride lines like Les pas de Chèvre and Couloir Rectiligne.

Aurelien Ducroz takes on a rarely skied line that offers strange snow, rappels and an emergency call to the heli. Find out how the guys got on in episode two of Cham Lines.
