Herschel Walker Dusts Off Old Track Uniform in Anticipation of Run-Off
Dallas, TX — While his opponent Raphael Warnock has been canvassing the Atlanta area to try and get out the vote, Georgia Senate candidate Herschel Walker has rented out the track at a local high school where he’s been doing a self-prescribed regimen of dynamic warmups, hurdles, and sprints.
“Ain’t no way I’m losing a run-off. I run a 4.3 second 40,” mumbled Walker to himself while stretching.
Walker’s campaign staff has been spotted chasing him around the track, trying to corral their candidate in order to bring him to the dozens of rallies and campaign events they have planned before the election. So far they’ve had little luck catching the Heisman Trophy winner.
Walker says he’s unsure if the run-off will be a sprint or a long-distance test of endurance but he will be prepared for either.
“The people of Georgia deserve a Senator that’s going to finish strong even if they don’t have a great start out of the blocks,” said Walker, being far too literal for his own good.
