Insert mathematical equations to Evernote/Medium
With built-in tool on your Mac
I started following a Coursera’s Machine Learning course few days ago. During the online classes, I took a lot of notes, on every piece of paper I found. In the end of the day, I spend my time rewrite them briefly on Evernote to structure my knowledge. That’s the best way to study online! And Evernote is really the best tool to do the job.
One problem is, there are a lot of mathematical equations need to be noted but Evernote didn’t have an ability to do it.
Mac OSX’s Grapher
After few minutes Googling, I really surprised that there is a built-in mathematical tool in Mac OSX called Grapher, I bet not everyone know about this.
You can find it in Other category in Launchpad, or simply type: Grapher in Spotlight Search.
Insert equations to Evernote and Medium
OK, let’s play around with Grapher later, now we will find out how to copy the equations to Evernote.
After finish typing your equations, you can select it and right click, choose Copy As -> TIFF
Then you can paste your equations directly to Evernote Mac App (not working on web version)
And if you are using Medium, you can paste it directly to the editor!
