Goin’ to see the penguinos. Check out that South American hair.
Look close — the rare Humboldt penguin.
We saw a total of 7 wild penguinos. It was awesome. Although, this little guy was in the same position the whole time so we do wonder if he was either dead or a stuffed version placed there by the penguin tour company. :D
Still there.
Sea lions!
The island is covered in golden spring flowers.
The wooden churches of Chiloe were built in the 18th and 19th centuries by Spanish Jesuits, made entirely of local wood and wood shingles.
All types of wildlife can be spotted on Chiloe.
We are getting really great at those 10 second camera timers.
But not that great. :D
Tide’s out.
Many types of birds migrate to and from Chiloe and North America each year.
