The Haters Next Door
Jeannie Stone was concerned and didn’t know how to tell her husband Bradley about what was going on next door. Jeannie and Bradley had bought a house in Oakmount and were excited about living in the suburbs.
They had met and married in Toronto and had lived in a condo at the Harbourfront. When Jeannie found out she was pregnant, it was decided they would move into a nice house and raise their family away from the hustle and bustle of the big city.
Jonathan Black was their Realtor and he’d done a magnificent job showing them homes in a thirty five mile radius around Toronto. They had chosen Oakmout as it was only a twenty minute drive to the hospital for Bradley. Brad was an Orthopedic surgeon and it was important to find an easy commute. The fact that the GO Train was only six minutes from the door of his new house made everything seem perfect.
The first two weeks were idyllic. Brad and Jeannie started to get to know the community and they really liked Oakmount. There was a small Orthodox synagogue about fifteen minutes away which was perfect for them. Life was beyond good.
