Someone is going to try to free that hostage

To those who were upset about Israel’s rescue of Noa, Almog, Andrei, and Shlomi on Saturday, June 8, 2024:

The BBC splashed a headline about hundreds of deaths of innocent Gazans during the rescue of four hostages who were kept hidden for half a year.

What international laws allow terrorists to hold women and children as hostages, randomly killing them or letting them die? Where is the world’s moral outrage about that? Are those who hold captives innocent?

Also, is everyone aware that Hamas terrorists have “standing orders” to “shoot the captives” (NYT) if they think IDF forces are coming? Where is the world’s moral outrage about shooting women and elderly captives to prevent them from being rescued?

If there were children killed in the raid to free Israeli hostages, shame on Hamas for putting them at risk by hiding kidnapped Israelis in their homes. Shame on the Gazans, including the Al Jazeera journalist, who held human beings (although they don’t consider Jews as such) captive in their homes. I’m not even asking about moral outrage about this, because so many morally bankrupt people are still excusing Hamas for raping, mutilating, murdering, or kidnapping hundreds on October 7, 2023.

If Hamas didn’t want anyone to die, why did they kidnap 240 hostages, including babies and elderly citizens, and why didn’t they return the hostages one of the many times they were asked to do so in these past months. Did they think that the IDF would lay down its arms and allow another massacre like October 7th? Why are news outlets focused on Hamas and Hamas victims who died while Hamas operatives tried to kill those trying to rescue hostages? Is this again a case of anger at not having been able to kill more Jews?

Didn’t those Gazans who imprisoned Noa Argamani, 26, Almog Meir Jan, 22, Andrei Kozlov, 27, and Shlomi Ziv, 41, in their HOMES, consider the possibility that enslaving Israelis might not be good for their health? We’ve seen what happens to those who enslave Jews, but since HAMAS has been trying to rewrite history, perhaps they were unaware of the Exodus from Egypt. For thousands of years, Jews recall that story in our prayers every single day, just as we recall our ancestral homeland of Israel. We even celebrate an annual holiday on which we say, “Once we were slaves, now we are free.”

As Moses told Pharah (the Sinwar of his day): LET MY PEOPLE GO!

Hamas has a new charter, but never got rid of their 2017 charter calling for the destruction of Israel and the genocide of the Jewish people. Hamas has been clear: they want to wipe out the Jews and colonize Israel. Hamas, like its funders (IRAN) and all Jihadis are opposed to peace, freedom, and democracy. This is not about Palestine and not about a better life for Gazans. Their goal is a world in which Islam dominates all other religions, and those who do not follow Islam are expelled or subjugated (as they are in all Muslim-led countries).

They are trying to destroy Jews today. Who will they go after tomorrow?
