A Million Years by Your Side

Upon the salty waves, forevers float.
The sea azure, the night obscures the pale
Stars inside a dream that worships your name.
I wander unsure if I seek your truth,
Wish for lies, or if blindness serves me right.
For every need we swallowed back in fear,
A stubborn thought refused to die in vain —
Million goodbyes in our minds as we stay.
Years and years we spent in disastrous search,
With vile monsters weighing on our shoulders.
You are, against the odds, at last in peace,

And I will always wish upon the stars
and moon for a million years by your side.
