The jagged edges of your brokenness
You reached in tender with loving hands
hung my innards out to dry, unstrung
on the Tree of your Benevolence.
the Sun of your Neglect drying me
to perfect crispness.
All my tender truths turned too bitter to bite,
leaving your lips sucking the marrow of my life.
Now vultures feast on what remains.
