We had finished putting away dishes and suddenly it was just one of those moments, so I put my arms around Deb and give her a warm kiss.

ME: I love you!

DEB: I love you too!

ME: You are a marvelous lady!

DEB: You are a marvelous guy, honey!

ME: I think you’re wonderful!

DEB: I think you’re wonderful too, honey! Except I don’t say that first, I just repeat (goofy voice) Oh I think you’re wonderful too, honey.

ME: You have others ways to say it!

DEB: I guess I do! (sultry breathy voice) I think you’re wonderfultoooo(makes seductive bedroom eyes at me… maybe more like cartoon bedroom eyes… maybe more like a kid trying to imitate cartoon bedroom eyes)

ME: (laughing) I love you! You are so cute!

DEB: I am just the whole package, aren’t I? Who knew? (smooch)

Well, I had an inkling, obviously.
