Legs. To keep your legs in top shape, try running home with your shopping. You can start by attaching to yourself your supermarket basket with a day’s worth of groceries; then increasing it up to a trolley full of weekly shopping. Alternate between these to get a good cardio, all on your way back from the grocery store.

Back. Hard one to exercise but if you put those 50 kg dumbbells you never use into your backpack and carry them around, the weight will pull you back and down, thus creating that perfect conflict between you trying to stay in an upright position and gravity… Balancing this tricky relationship should give your back a nice workout.

Eyes and observation. Don’t notice anything? Want to become more mindful? Just point your phone camera at the ground and look through it as you walk. Framed and reduced to only a small observable space, your surroundings will at last become manageable and you will finally be able to notice things, such as the old rotten leaf and the cigarette butt. And that dog shit you’ve just stepped into.

Arms and shoulders. As the image illustrates. This is obviously why they kindly put scaffolding in the streets.

Happy workout!
