Time, only another energy.
The impossibly heroic attempt
to freeze time in art is
forever doomed, if necessary.
Time is a master thief that
steals stealthily away
and can never be arrested.
Perception shifts perpetually.
Subjects cannot hold still.
The abrupt blink of an eye.
A sharp, sudden cry.
The always unanswered, why?
To capture even a moment
is a most masterful triumph,
a snapshot of the True,
although that frosty instant
will melt away too.
