Her drink, the wine, spilled all over the table.

I was trying not to be jealous.

And I stood there, next to her, both of us watching the liquid slowly dripping down to the floor.

It was mesmerizing.

Hearts beating, loudly, rhythmically, pulsating like at a crowded dance club.
